GoodPower seeks a dynamic Global Marketing Director to lead and execute innovative marketing strategies in support of ambitious climate, clean energy, and policy goals worldwide. This remote, full-time temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, oversee in-country directors, and drive impactful campaigns in diverse regions. The ideal candidate will possess global marketing experience, a passion for climate action, and a commitment to equity and justice.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of global marketing strategies to advance GoodPower's climate and clean energy objectives.
Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams on strategic planning and implementation.
Oversee and support in-country Marketing Directors, managing work planning, professional development, and budget administration.
Direct all marketing activities, including digital, creator, print, and out-of-home advertising campaigns.
Maintain editorial oversight of messaging, collateral, and digital content to align with organizational goals.
Drive coalition engagement, build relationships with key partners, and promote community within global creator networks.
Monitor and analyze data to assess campaign performance, generate actionable insights, and enhance impact.
Stay informed on global climate policy trends and recommend strategic engagement opportunities.
Support grant reporting and administrative functions as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of global experience in marketing, digital advertising, or the creator economy, preferably in UK, South Africa, or Brazil.
Proven expertise in executing cross-cultural marketing campaigns across digital, social, and traditional channels.
Familiarity with social listening and market research tools such as Kantar, Meta Brand lift studies, GrowProgress, Sprinklr, NWO.ai, or similar.
Extensive knowledge of climate change movements, policy, and energy geopolitics.
Experience working with coalitions and achieving collective impact.
Fluency in English required; multilingual skills in Brazilian Portuguese, Zulu, Xhosa, Afrikaans, Spanish, French, or Hindi preferred.
Strong organizational, analytical, and strategic mindset, able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce or CRM systems, Learning Management Systems, ESPs, and social media advertising platforms.
Demonstrated ability to bring new ideas, troubleshoot creatively, and collaborate effectively across teams.
