Google Workspace Deployment Lead

Join SADA, An Insight Company, as a Senior Workspace Deployment Engineer and play a pivotal role in leading Google Workspace migrations and implementations for our clients. You will collaborate with architects, change managers, and project managers to deliver high-quality, customer-focused solutions that drive business transformation. This is a customer-facing, hands-on position requiring deep expertise in Google Workspace and related technologies, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

Job Overview

• Lead the deployment and configuration of Google Workspace solutions for client organizations.
• Act as engineering lead for multi-faceted projects, guiding both customers and internal teams through successful migrations.
• Develop and deliver training to customer administrators on Google Workspace and integrated solutions.
• Build prototypes, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver technical documentation to ensure project success.
• Foster a reputation for quality and reliability with both customers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute Google Workspace migrations, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption.
• Configure and optimize Workspace settings based on customer use cases and security needs.
• Guide customers through platform adoption, addressing questions and concerns throughout the transition.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, recommending additional engagements when needed.
• Mentor junior engineers and enable team members to complete project tasks successfully.
• Communicate project status and updates regularly to internal and external stakeholders.
• Produce technical documentation, architecture designs, and presentations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Google Professional Workspace Administrator Certification (or ability to obtain within 45 days).
• Expertise in mail migrations, Active Directory, identity management (Google Cloud Identity, Okta, ADFS, Azure), and SharePoint concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Google Workspace, traditional enterprise mail, and collaboration technologies.
• Strong understanding of security, networking, and cloud-native architecture best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to present complex concepts.
• Experience producing technical assets and documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple project streams and deadlines.
• Useful experience with AODocs, Okta, BetterCloud, CloudM, ChromeOS, and scripting in Python, Javascript, or Google Apps Script.
• 10% travel required for customer site visits, conferences, and related events.
