Parexel, a leading global Clinical Research Organization (CRO), is seeking a Manager for HCP Contracting – Sponsor Delegate. This pivotal role supports efficient and compliant management of healthcare professional (HCP) contracts, ensuring seamless execution across the contract lifecycle. The ideal candidate will support cross-functional teams, maintain stakeholder relationships, and drive process improvements within a dynamic, patient-centric clinical development environment.

Job Overview

As the HCP Contracting Manager, you will act as a sponsor delegate, overseeing the full lifecycle of HCP contracts. You will be responsible for ensuring all contract data is accurately entered into the Engage platform, collaborating with multiple internal teams, and supporting sponsors in decision-making. Your focus will be on delivering timely, efficient contract management while identifying opportunities for process enhancements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the end-to-end process of HCP contracts for assigned sponsors, ensuring compliance and timely progression.
  • Act as a delegate for the contracting sponsor, ensuring all process requirements are met and documented in the Engage platform.
  • Maintain active engagement with sponsors, supporting their participation in contractual decisions.
  • Report and forecast future HCP engagement needs to support annual budget planning.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Commercial Operations, Finance, Compliance, and Legal to facilitate contract execution and close-out.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities within the HCP contract lifecycle and propose actionable solutions.
  • Develop subject matter expertise within assigned business functions to anticipate and fulfill operational needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills, with experience engaging at all management levels and with healthcare professionals.
  • Strong project management abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and data reporting skills for process metrics.
  • Proficiency in international HCP contracting practices and familiarity with life/health sciences vendors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex issues concisely.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and proactively keep stakeholders informed.
  • Solid understanding of pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry regulations and compliance standards.
