Semaphore is seeking a Head of Growth to lead our go-to-market strategy as we expand our open source CI/CD platform. Join a passionate, agile team driving the next phase of developer community growth and product adoption. This is a unique opportunity to shape the trajectory of a globally trusted developer tool and make a significant impact in the open source ecosystem.

Job Overview

As Head of Growth, you will own and execute all aspects of Semaphore’s growth initiatives. You will turn product milestones into market momentum, foster community engagement, drive user acquisition, and develop strategic partnerships. Working closely with a lean, collaborative team, you'll ensure Semaphore becomes the leading open source CI/CD solution for developers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, own, and optimize revenue channels and monetization strategies.
Plan and execute campaigns for user acquisition, activation, and retention.
Translate product milestones into impactful go-to-market launch plans.
Lead open-source growth initiatives, including community engagement and content.
Establish and manage co-marketing, integration, and distribution partnerships.
Drive positioning and messaging for product and marketing initiatives.
Collaborate with writers, designers, and freelancers on content production.
Measure, analyze, and iterate on performance to improve key growth metrics.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in go-to-market growth at a devtools, B2B SaaS, or open source company.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategies that drive results.
Deep understanding of software developers and the software delivery lifecycle.
Hands-on experience with product launches, partnerships, content, and growth channels.
Resourceful, self-driven, and effective in a lean, asynchronous work environment.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Bonus: Experience growing open-source projects or developer communities.
