The Director – Business Acquisitions, Bid Management & Solutions will lead the end-to-end bid management process and solution development for Rackspace's Healthcare vertical, focusing on both Providers and Payers. This strategic, remote role is responsible for crafting winning go-to-market strategies, driving successful bids, and managing a high-performing cross-functional team, with a strong emphasis on private cloud technologies. The position involves close collaboration with solutioning, sales, commercial, and delivery teams to secure large and complex healthcare IT deals.

Key Responsibilities

Drive and manage the complete bid lifecycle, from opportunity qualification through RFP/RFI/RFQ response, proposal submission, and contract negotiation.
Collaborate with Solutions, Sales, and Delivery teams to design and deliver innovative solutions aligned with customer needs and Rackspace’s healthcare offerings.
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies tailored to the healthcare segment, including crafting value propositions and sales narratives.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to deliver compliant, commercially sound bids and lead technical and commercial client conversations.
Lead, coach, and develop a cross-functional team of Bid Managers and Solution Architects to ensure high performance and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Qualifications

15+ years of experience in solutioning, bid management, and business acquisition, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience responding to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs and building strategy for complex, large-scale bids.
Deep domain expertise in Healthcare IT, ideally working with both Payers and Providers.
Strong knowledge of Private Cloud and infrastructure services, with the ability to engage in technical and business discussions.
Exceptional communication, leadership, commercial acumen, and storytelling skills.
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced business/technology degree preferred.
Demonstrated ability to drive GTM execution, partner engagement, and deliver measurable results.
High agility, accountability, and customer-centric mindset in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
