Job Overview

As a Home Health Collections Associate, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable for select payors, ensuring timely payments, handling claim denial management, processing balance transfers, adjustments, refunds, and corrected claims, and coordinating data/workflow between internal revenue cycle teams.

Responsibilities
  • Manage AR for select payors to ensure timely payments
  • Handle claim denial management and root-cause analysis
  • Process balance transfers, adjustments, refunds, and corrected claims
  • Complete administrative appeals and escalation with payors
  • Communicate AR status with internal customers and management
Requirements & Qualifications
  • 1+ year healthcare collections/AR experience
  • Collections experience required
  • Degree preferred; education/experience accepted
  • HCHB experience preferred
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
