Information Systems Security Officer

Job Overview

As an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), you will provide technical support in vulnerability and risk assessments, network security, and remediation. You will design and implement solutions for protecting confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Your role will involve supporting analysis in cyber and insider threat identification, evaluation, and remediation. Additionally, you will provide technical evaluations of Civil Division systems and assist with security improvements. Developing information system contingency plans to maintain protection and meet time needs and conducting security product evaluations will also be part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support in vulnerability and risk assessments.

• Support analysis in cyber and insider threat identification, evaluation, and remediation.
• Provide technical evaluations of Civil Division systems and assist with security improvements.
• Develop information system contingency plans to maintain protection and meet time needs.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 8+ years hands-on Information Assurance/C&A experience.
• Experience as an ISSO supporting federal government systems.
• Active CISSP certification.
• Active Top Secret clearance.
