Job Title: IT Security Analyst Employment Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (UK Hours) Duties & Essential Job Functions Collaborate with customer IT Security teams to support their cyber security, cloud, and identity security requirements. Help identify and resolve security issues, maintain platform configurations, and manage escalations to reduce customer risk. Assist customer teams in developing procedures to effectively manage security risks. Create and maintain effective security configurations within customers' identity security platforms. Communicate security analysis findings clearly to business leaders and key stakeholders. Provide regular reports on the security status of customers' identity programmes to operational teams. Qualifications Strong literacy and numeracy skills. University degree preferred. Accreditation in IT Networking, internet protocols, and TCP/IP traffic – essential. Accreditation in security authentication mechanisms (2FA, SSO, API Keys) – preferred. Essential Skills & Experience Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Experience with Alert/SIEM log traffic analysis. Experience handling security event management, troubleshooting, and resolution. Solid understanding of application authentication processes. Experience managing Azure and Active Directory Users and Groups. Knowledge of both Windows and MacOS environments. Knowledge & Additional Skills A curious mindset and eagerness to learn – key for success in this role. Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Good verbal and written communication skills. Proactive attitude with a desire to build a long-term career. Ability to work well in a team and provide support to colleagues when needed. Strong sense of responsibility — able to follow tasks through to successful completion. Experience managing SaaS platforms – preferred. Prior experience working in an IT Security role or service desk environment – preferred. Familiarity with IT Security tools such as Anti-Virus, Firewalls, Content Control platforms – advantageous. Full training will be provided to successful candidates.
