Diversified Technical Services, Inc. (DTSI) is seeking a Junior Azure Systems Administrator to manage and maintain Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure for the Air Force electronic Freedom of Information Act (eFOIA) program. This role ensures the availability, performance, and security of critical cloud resources supporting federal operations, with a focus on collaboration, compliance, and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure services, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking components.
  • Monitor resource performance and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Implement security measures, manage identity and access, and ensure compliance with industry standards and DoD policies.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and other tools to streamline operations.
  • Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams, and provide advanced troubleshooting and support for eFOIA applications.
  • Install, upgrade, document, patch, and monitor system components, ensuring STIG and TCNO compliance.
  • Assist helpdesk personnel with elevated issues and liaise with vendors for advanced troubleshooting.
  • Build and maintain test environments to support eFOIA application upgrades and implementation.
  • Uphold federal and company compliance standards, including GDPR, HIPAA, and PII regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing Azure training and certification programs as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 3 years of related experience, or 5 years of equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Azure IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and management via Azure Portal, PowerShell, Azure CLI, and ARM templates.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (virtual networks, VPNs, load balancers).
  • Experience with Microsoft IIS, SQL Server, HTML, and STIG compliance.
  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance and DoD 8570 IAT Level II (Security+).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • On-call and weekend availability as required.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Eligibility to work for federal government clients (background investigation required).
