Junior EdTech Web Engineer

Join a fast-growing, U.S.-based EdTech startup as their first in-house technical hire. You'll lead the evolution of internal systems that help students prepare for law school admissions, taking ownership of a core Bubble-based web platform and supporting internal operations. Job Overview

As the main technical team member, you will maintain, improve, and scale the company's web applications and internal tools. You will collaborate closely with the founder and operations team, influencing product direction and technology choices from day one. This role offers flexible remote work from anywhere in Latin America.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the Bubble-based core web app: resolve bugs, enhance performance, and launch new features.
• Maintain and update an older custom-built web app used for reporting.
• Manage and optimize Airtable automations and Zapier integrations.
• Troubleshoot and support internal tools across operations, content, and product teams.
• Contribute to website and landing page projects.
• Evaluate opportunities to transition parts of the stack to custom-coded solutions.
• Serve as the internal tech expert and go-to problem solver.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in technical or fullstack roles.
• Strong familiarity with no-code platforms (Bubble, Webflow, Airtable).
• Solid understanding of frontend/backend fundamentals and system design.
• Experience with MVPs, internal tools, or early-stage products.
• Product-oriented mindset with focus on usability and user needs.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.
• Self-directed, proactive, and independent problem-solver.
• Remote work experience.
• Bonus: Startup or agency background, experience in EdTech, cross-functional collaboration, and ability to consolidate technical workflows.
