Junior GIS Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of GIS projects, from sales handover to final customer delivery and project closure.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Act as the main point of contact for international customers, including leading customer meetings and factory acceptance tests.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and opportunities to ensure successful outcomes.
• Monitor project progress, resource utilization, and financial performance in collaboration with supervisors and controlling teams.
• Handle change, claim, and risk management, including financial reporting and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of GIS substations and high voltage technologies.
• Business administration knowledge is advantageous.
• Associate Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) is desirable.
• Excellent written and spoken English; proficiency in German or additional languages is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a well-structured and resilient approach.
• Ability to learn quickly and perform effectively under pressure.
