Bugcrowd is seeking a motivated Junior Technical Pentest Manager to join our dynamic, fully remote team. In this engaging role, you will support customers running Penetration Testing as a Service (PTaaS) through the Bugcrowd platform. You will act as a trusted advisor, collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure the successful delivery of penetration testing projects. Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted customer advocate, ensuring client satisfaction and successful outcomes.
  • Manage end-to-end penetration testing engagements, from scoping to report delivery.
  • Accurately scope tests across network, web, mobile, and API domains.
  • Communicate offensive security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, pen testers, and global security communities.
  • Generate client-facing reports and address special requests as needed.
  • Operate efficiently under tight deadlines, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues during engagements.
  • Continuously improve processes and methodologies by staying current with industry trends.
  • Work independently with initiative and ownership.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in penetration testing or offensive security roles.
  • 1+ years in engagement or project management within consulting or delivery-based environments.
  • Broad understanding of penetration testing methodologies (web, mobile, APIs, IoT, cryptography, network infrastructure, LLM).
  • Experience with PTaaS platforms and global security communities (preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for diverse audiences.
  • Strong commitment to customer advocacy and satisfaction.
  • Proven time management and multitasking abilities under pressure.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently, with self-motivation and initiative.
  • Passion for cybersecurity and continuous learning in offensive security.
