Join CACI’s EITaaS Program as a Junior System Engineer, supporting the Department of the Air Force’s transformation to an advanced enterprise IT service delivery model. You will play a vital role in deploying and managing Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions based on Azure Virtual Desktop, ensuring robust IT operations for Airmen and Guardians nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and manage Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies using Azure Virtual Desktop.
Support continuous monitoring and proactive resolution of user and system issues within the VDI environment.
Execute and troubleshoot PowerShell scripts to automate deployments and operations.
Assist in Windows Zero Touch Installation (ZTI) processes and monthly OS/application patching.
Collaborate with team leads to identify, report, and mitigate risks and issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
8+ years of relevant IT experience (or Bachelor’s Degree plus 3 years).
Current certification: Security+, CISSP, CCNA, or CCNP.
Proficiency in building and troubleshooting Windows client systems.
Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop, PowerShell scripting, and automated build processes.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Familiarity with Active Directory management and Windows security controls (STIG).
Experience creating technical documentation and supporting enterprise IT environments.
Relevant technical certifications (e.g., MCSE, Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty).
Willingness to travel up to 10% within the continental US.
