Octopus Deploy is seeking a talented Lead Product Designer specializing in AI Foundations to join our team remotely from anywhere in Australia or New Zealand. In this full-time role, you will play a key part in shaping the user experience and design strategy for our AI-driven software deployment platform, helping accelerate and streamline software delivery across global teams.

Job Overview

Lead the design of AI-powered product features and foundational systems.
Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define and deliver exceptional user experiences.
Drive innovation and best practices in product design for scalable software deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end design process for AI Foundations within Octopus Deploy.
Translate complex technical requirements into simple, intuitive user interfaces.
Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
Develop and maintain design systems, guidelines, and documentation.
Mentor and guide other designers in the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a product designer, preferably with AI or SaaS platforms.
Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UX/UI design and user-centered methodologies.
Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
Understanding of AI concepts and their application in product design.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed environment.
