Job Overview

Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II with expertise in VTL Machining to own operations on large mills, improve high-volume work, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and establish new machining work centers.

Responsibilities

Own operations on 2 large 3-axis mills and a VTL
Collaborate with design, manufacturing, reliability, internal teams, and vendors
Create work instructions, specs, and best practices; standardize processes
Establish new machining work centers; tooling and process definition
Support shop floor with issue resolution and upstream feedback

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing/aero/mechanical engineering or related field
2+ years experience in manufacturing engineering
3D/2D design and drafting per ASME Y14.5M; NX preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration
Direct experience with CNC milling and turning across multiple materials
Understanding of machine programming (G-code) and machine set-up
Strong fundamentals in statics, mechanics of materials, process improvement
