Job Overview

Seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer specializing in data mining to architect and train teacher-student models for multimodal data. The role involves building RL-based policy learning and reasoning systems, deploying distilled and RL models to production while optimizing latency and throughput. Research into agentic workflows for autonomous reasoning and planning is a key aspect of this position. Mentoring junior engineers, translating research into scalable solutions, and driving reliability of the Omnitag data platform are additional responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Architect and train teacher-student models for multimodal data
• Build RL-based policy learning and reasoning systems
• Deploy distilled and RL models to production and optimize latency and throughput
• Research agentic workflows for autonomous reasoning and planning
• Mentor junior engineers and translate research into scalable solutions

Requirements & Qualifications

• BS in CS/ML or equivalent experience
• 6+ years ML engineering experience with post-training, optimization, and deployment
• Experience in distillation/teacher-student models, loss design, and evaluation
• Production/research RL experience in policy optimization, rewards, and simulation
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX
• Cloud deployment knowledge (AWS/GCP/Azure) and inference optimization
• Understanding of software basics
