Packaging Manager

Job Overview

As a Packaging Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the packaging department, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and consistency. Additionally, you will play a key role in mentoring and coaching the packaging team, maintaining packaging equipment, and ensuring compliance with state laws and standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day packaging department operations

• Maintain packaging equipment and automation
• Create compliant labels and ensure packaging meets state laws

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, operations preferred
• 5+ years of experience in packaging/manufacturing or supply chain leadership
• Experience in highly regulated manufacturing; cannabis knowledge a plus
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing
• Experience with ERP and seed-to-sale software
