Job Overview

As the Manager of Payment Operations in Mexico, you will be responsible for leading a team, managing critical payment escalations, collaborating with Payment Service Providers, ensuring risk and compliance, and driving process improvements.

Responsibilities
  • Manage payment operations team including tasks, 1:1s, metrics, and projects.
  • Handle critical payment escalations with clear internal/external communication.
  • Collaborate with Payment Service Providers for seamless service.
  • Conduct periodic reviews to ensure risk and compliance.
  • Lead process improvements with PSPs to boost efficiency.
  • Be available outside hours to address urgent payment matters.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • 5+ years in payments, risk or compliance ops in SaaS/fintech.
  • At least 2 years of direct people management.
  • English and Spanish fluency (C1+), written and verbal.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving for escalations.
  • Experience with payment service providers.
  • Data analysis and visualization using Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, and Excel.
  • Self-motivated with cross-functional and cross-geo leadership.
  • Upskilling teams and process optimization.
