Job Overview

As a Payroll Support Specialist, you will be responsible for investigating and resolving payroll problems, collaborating with various teams to ensure timely solutions, and improving workflows based on identified patterns.

Responsibilities

Investigate and trace root causes of payroll problems
Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Tax, and Risk teams to resolve issues
Surface patterns to enhance documentation, workflows, and processes
Provide clear explanations to partners and stakeholders

Requirements & Qualifications

4+ years in client or partner-facing role supporting technical products
2+ years at a payroll provider or platform with payroll workflows
Experience in high-volume support environments with speed and accuracy
Strong investigative instincts and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy while working efficiently
Fluency with ticketing systems, preferably ZenDesk
