Join Pismo, a Visa company, as a Senior Software Engineer on our Pipeline Orchestration Platform team. You will help build a secure, scalable, and UI-driven solution that automates service bundle promotions and environment rollbacks for banking and payment products. This remote role offers the opportunity to collaborate globally, drive innovation, and ensure high standards of security and availability.

Job Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and evolution of a multi-tenant orchestration platform. The product integrates with CI/CD pipelines and deployment infrastructure, serving both technical and non-technical users across engineering, operations, and support teams.

Key Responsibilities

Develop orchestration logic for coordinated service promotions and rollbacks.
Build secure, scalable APIs and front-end components.
Integrate with CI/CD pipelines and deployment infrastructure.
Ensure observability through dashboards, logs, and alerts.
Collaborate with SRE, Security, IAM, and Architecture teams.
Participate in technical design discussions and document key decisions.
Promote best practices in monitoring, alerting, and performance optimisation.
Contribute to platform scalability, maintainability, and usability.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Support cross-team interactions and anticipate integration impacts.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
7+ years of experience in software engineering (backend or full-stack).
Strong proficiency in cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and orchestration tools.
Experience building distributed systems and scalable APIs.
Familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring tools, alerting systems, and performance tuning.
Understanding of multi-tenancy, security, and auditability in product development.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a product-driven team.
Strong communication skills and proactive mindset.
Additional certifications in cloud architecture, security, or software design are a plus.
Remote work flexibility; occasional travel to Visa offices may be required with notice.
