Plumbing/Fire Designer

Job Overview

Design and direct plumbing and fire protection systems, including piping. Lead mechanical projects by supervising progress and budgets. Create Revit/BIM models for plumbing, fire protection, and HVAC systems. Specify equipment such as boilers, chillers, and AHUs, and review shop drawings. Coordinate with clients and project teams, attend OAC meetings, research issues, respond to RFIs and change orders, and conduct site visits.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Associate degree in a relevant field
• 6+ years of related experience
• CPD, PE or FPE in the United States preferred
• LEED accreditation preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Revit, BIM, and engineering design software
