Product Counsel

Job Overview

Counsel product/marketing teams on legal/regulatory requirements and risks. Identify legal/regulatory risks and propose mitigations with a business focus.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements supporting the business.
• Stay up-to-date on consumer protection laws/regulations.
• Partner with Marketing to ensure compliance of consumer materials.
• Collaborate with the broader Legal & Compliance team on initiatives.
• Know/apply RESPA, UDAAP, GLBA consumer protection laws.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 7+ years in product counsel role (firm or in-house).
• Experience in regulatory compliance in law firm or in-house.
• High proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Willing to learn new technology; digital fluency required.
• Based in the U.S. to be considered.
