Key Responsibilities

Conduct application security reviews, including penetration testing and code reviews for mobile, web, and API platforms using OWASP standards.
Identify and address security flaws in product design via thorough threat modeling.
Integrate and manage security tools within CI/CD pipelines and automate security monitoring processes.
Perform SAST, DAST, and SCA scans; analyze results, eliminate false positives, and communicate findings to engineering teams.
Lead security incident response efforts and define post-incident remediation plans.

Required Skills & Qualifications

3–6 years of experience in penetration testing, code review, DevSecOps, and architecture design reviews.
Proven expertise in application security and vulnerability management.
Familiarity with web application scanning tools such as Qualys WAS, Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, and Veracode.
Strong understanding of secure protocols, encryption standards, and authentication mechanisms.
At least one recognized security certification (e.g., OSCP, OSWE, GPEN).
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
