Raptor Propulsion Engineer

This position involves owning the design, analysis, and development of Raptor ignition systems, ensuring hardware design and production throughput. The role requires coordinating with peers, assigning clear responsibilities, and collaborating with cross-discipline teams to drive hardware and sequence changes for reliability and performance. Additionally, developing test requirements, participating in flight tests, and analyzing engine transients are key aspects of this role.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in flow, thermodynamics, thermochemistry, mechanics, transients
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
• 1+ years programming and data review tools (Python, MATLAB)
• 1+ years with rocket/jet engine hardware or high-pressure fluids
• 3+ years with jet/rocket engines or high-pressure fluids
