Job Overview

As a React Software Engineer, you will work within local Scrum teams based in Athens, closely cooperating with both domestic and international development teams. You will create high-quality, responsive web or mobile solutions, contributing to client projects and to Agile Actors’ inclusive, developmental culture.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop Single Page Applications (SPAs) using React and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
Build responsive and adaptive user interfaces with HTML5 and CSS3.
Integrate and consume REST APIs, adhering to RESTful principles.
Collaborate within Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) alongside multidisciplinary teams.
Maintain code quality through unit and end-to-end testing, code reviews, and version control.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Solid understanding of JavaScript fundamentals and ES6+.
Proven experience developing with React.
Familiarity with TypeScript or Flow for strict typing.
Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and building rich user interfaces.
Experience with REST APIs and version control tools (preferably Git).
Knowledge of design patterns and development principles.
Familiarity with state management (e.g., Redux), testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress), and front-end tools (Webpack, Babel, npm, yarn).
Understanding of Agile methodologies and functional/reactive programming.
BSc/MSc in Computer Science or related fields.
Nice to have: Node.js, React Native, accessibility and SEO principles, and CSS-in-JS or preprocessors.
