Remote Cardiac Nurse

Job Overview

As a Registered Cardiac Nurse-PST, you will provide remote education on diagnosis, tests, and treatment plans for patients. You will collaborate with cardiologists, PCPs, and care teams, escalating concerns when necessary. Maintaining accurate patient records in the EHR per guidelines is essential, along with scheduling and conducting follow-up virtual visits. Advocating for patients and supporting their care journey will be a key aspect of this role, along with triaging patient requests based on need and SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote education on diagnosis, tests, and treatment plans
• Collaborate with cardiologists, PCPs, and care teams; escalate concerns
• Maintain accurate patient records in EHR per guidelines
• Schedule and conduct follow-up virtual visits
• Advocate for patients and support their care journey
• Triage patient requests and prioritize by need and SLAs

Requirements & Qualifications

• Current RN license (Compact)
• 3+ years in cardiology; telemedicine experience is a bonus
• Excellent virtual communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to educate patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to work independently and make clinical decisions under supervision
• Proficiency with telehealth platforms and EHRs
