GitLab is seeking a talented and experienced Staff Social Media Manager to join our fully remote team. In this role, you will lead our social media strategy, engaging audiences and enhancing our brand presence across digital channels. This full-time opportunity is open to candidates based in Canada or the United States, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while making a significant impact in the DevOps space.

Job Overview

Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with GitLab’s mission.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote content and initiatives.
Analyze metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and optimize engagement.
Represent GitLab’s brand voice consistently across all social platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Create, curate, and manage published content across major social media channels.
Monitor trends and conversations relevant to the DevOps community.
Engage with followers and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
Develop social media campaigns to support product launches and company updates.
Report on social media performance and provide actionable insights.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience managing social media for a technology or SaaS company.
Expertise in content creation, scheduling, and analytics tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
Knowledge of DevOps concepts is a plus.
