Join Zapier as a Sales Assist Representative I and help drive the adoption of automation and AI by supporting customers throughout their buying journey. Job Overview

Remote, contract-based position (12 months) for candidates located in India.
Engage with customers primarily through live chat, virtual demos, and emails to showcase Zapier’s solutions.
Work within an international, cross-functional team to drive customer success and influence product improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Guide customers through the evaluation and purchase process using live chat (Intercom), virtual demos, and email communications.
Demonstrate Zapier’s capabilities, inspire automation use-cases, and educate users to maximize product value.
Qualify and convert leads, maintaining a high-velocity sales pipeline and influencing revenue outcomes.
Document and share customer feedback to improve sales processes and product offerings.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contributing to sales projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Located in India with availability to work 9:00 pm - 6:00 am IST.
2+ years of experience in a solutions engineer, technical account manager, or technical sales role within a SaaS environment.
Strong technical acumen, including experience with APIs and building automation solutions.
Proven ability to manage a high-volume sales queue and meet performance quotas.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with effective cross-cultural abilities.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
Familiarity with international markets and product-led growth strategies.
