Job Overview

Rackspace Technology is seeking a Security Engineer - Level II specializing in Threat & Vulnerability Management. The role involves proactively detecting and responding to cyber-attacks, reducing attack surfaces, maintaining compliance, and developing operational resilience.

Responsibilities

• Lead vulnerability assessments and scans using Qualys tool
• Analyze and assess vulnerability reports
• Collaborate with IT and security teams for remediation
• Conduct regular calls with clients for remediation strategies
• Track and monitor vulnerability remediation efforts

Requirements & Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in Threat & Vulnerability Management
• Experience with Qualys, Tenable, and Skybox
• Knowledge of cloud native security tools
• Understanding of security best practices
• Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple customers
