RevenueCat is seeking a talented Senior Backend Engineer, Web, to join our remote team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will help build and manage the backend infrastructure that powers subscription apps for clients worldwide. This full-time role offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the Americas or EMEA, allowing you to make an impact from wherever you are.

Job Overview

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems for web-based subscription applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our infrastructure and codebase.
Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of backend services.
Support and mentor junior engineers as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and implement robust backend APIs and services.
Work closely with product and frontend teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
Monitor and optimize application performance and scalability.
Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues efficiently.
Maintain documentation and best practices for backend development.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in backend engineering for web applications.
Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
Expertise with APIs, databases, and server-side technologies.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote, global team environment.
