Job Overview

Join our team as a Senior Backend Software Engineer to develop and maintain the backend systems for the Foodsmart web application. This remote position offers competitive pay, unlimited PTO, and healthcare coverage.

Responsibilities

Design and implement APIs to support front-end requirements
Establish development practices for code quality and system performance
Collaborate with product team to understand user needs and translate them into backend solutions
Debug and resolve production issues
Monitor and optimize system performance and scalability

Requirements & Qualifications

5+ years of backend development experience in JavaScript or TypeScript
Proficiency in RESTful APIs and SQL databases
Experience with AWS services and server architecture
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
