Senior Civil Design Engineer

As a Senior Civil Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing requirements, performing technical reviews of design packages, preparing design packages with calculations, drawings, specs, and estimates, reviewing third-party designs for code compliance and user needs, contributing technical input to renovation proposals, supporting design from concept to final design package, and preparing memos/reports summarizing requirements or basis of design.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop requirements and perform technical reviews of design packages
• Prepare design packages with calculations, drawings, specs, and estimates
• Review third-party designs for code compliance and user needs
• Contribute technical input to renovation proposals
• Support design from concept to final design package
• Prepare memos/reports summarizing requirements or basis of design

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 8+ years experience; 10+ preferred
• PE license or actively pursuing licensure
• Knowledge of IBC, UFC, NFPA, ANSI, ASCE standards
• Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret-level security clearance
• Must be a U.S. citizen
