Job Overview

The Senior iOS Engineer in the Apple Performance, Stability and Monitoring (PSM) team at Goodnotes will be responsible for optimizing app performance, memory management, concurrency, alerting, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

Tackling challenges in performance optimization and stability.
Implementing best practices for automated tests.
Creating custom monitors for user experience analysis.
Improving development practices through research and automation.
Sharing knowledge and experience with the team.

Requirements & Qualifications

Expertise in Swift programming.
Care for performance and understanding the importance of minimal performance gains.
Strong problem solving and communication skills.
Experience with Swift Concurrency is a plus.
Knowledge of computer science fundamentals and algorithmic problem solving.
Analytical skills for investigating performance issues.
Ability to work on sizable and complex codebases.
Experience with app development for large user bases is beneficial.
