Senior Legal Director

The Senior Director, Legal will play a pivotal role in managing the company's legal functions, including drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, litigation management, and advising on regulatory matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements.
• Develop and maintain contract templates and workflows within Ironclad.
• Manage litigation and pre-litigation disputes, including supervision of outside counsel.
• Advise executive leadership on claims exposure and settlement decisions.
• Oversee the company's insurance portfolio and workforce risk matters.
• Manage corporate governance and entity compliance.
• Lead internal legal work streams and collaborate on financing activities.
• Manage intellectual property assets and advise on privacy and data protection.
• Update internal and external policy documents.
• Serve as a member of the leadership team, advising on legal, regulatory, and risk considerations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years as in-house counsel.
• J.D. from a top-tier accredited law school.
• Bar admission and active membership in a U.S. state.
• Proficiency with Google Suite, Slack, and Ironclad.
• Experience with AI tools relevant to legal work.
