As the Senior Counsel for Marketing Legal, you will be the primary legal advisor for Marketing, CXO, and GTM on various campaigns and communications. You will create legal architectures for market entries, product launches, and channel expansions, all while designing scalable legal frameworks to accelerate GTM and manage enterprise risk effectively. Your role will involve reviewing marketing campaigns, collateral, website content, press releases, and testimonials, providing guidance on FTC advertising compliance, endorsements, and disclosures, as well as privacy considerations.
This position requires a J.D. from an accredited law school, active U.S. state bar membership, and a minimum of 8 years advising on marketing, advertising, or commercial matters, preferably in an in-house tech environment. A strong knowledge of FTC advertising regulations and substantiation is a must, along with experience with CAN-SPAM, TCPA, CCPA, GDPR, and collaborating with Data Privacy. Familiarity with trademark law and comparative advertising standards is also necessary to effectively translate legal concepts into practical guidance and drive decisions.
