Senior .NET Cloud Migration

We are seeking a Senior .NET Cloud Migration Developer to lead and influence the technical direction of our clients’ systems. This role involves migrating existing .NET Framework components to .NET Standard 2.0 or .NET 8, ensuring compatibility, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. As a senior developer, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical solutions, maintaining high code quality, and supporting production systems in a dynamic, cloud-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Migrate job engine plugins and libraries to .NET Standard 2.0 or .NET 8, maintaining dependency order.
• Ensure shared libraries are compatible with .NET Standard 2.0 for cross-service integration.
• Resolve compatibility issues with third-party NuGet packages by upgrading or replacing as needed.
• Participate fully in the SDLC, adhering to security and coding best practices, including documentation and code reviews.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to conduct unit and integration testing on migrated components.
• Provide proactive support for production systems by resolving bugs and triaging alerts.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in C# and .NET development.
• Proven expertise in migrating applications from .NET Framework to .NET Standard 2.0 or .NET 8.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and familiarity with gRPC (preferred).
• Experience with plugin-based architectures and device polling protocols such as SNMP or WMI.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Demonstrated experience with CI/CD automation (a plus).
• Degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
• Strong time management, expectation management, and a passion for continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
