Job Overview

Seeking a highly experienced Senior Patching Engineer to implement and maintain standardized patching across various operating systems. This role involves the use of multiple tools such as Tanium, Ansible, Puppet, Foreman, Ivanti, SCCM, Azure Update Manager, and AWS to deploy patches, assess compliance, troubleshoot deployment issues, and coordinate monthly patches.

Responsibilities

Implement and maintain standardized patching across Windows, Linux, and non-Windows systems
Deploy patches using Tanium and troubleshoot deployment issues
Utilize Ansible and Puppet for configuration drift management and automated patch application
Coordinate monthly patches with various tools including Foreman, Ivanti, SCCM, Azure Update Manager, Tanium, and AWS
Analyze vulnerability scan results and coordinate remediation

Requirements & Qualifications

6–10 years of patch management experience
Expertise in Tanium, Ansible, Puppet, SCCM, Ivanti, Azure Update Manager, AWS
Background in VMware, Active Directory, SQL/Oracle
Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
Knowledge of CIS, NIST, DISA, STIG hardening standards
