Mercury is seeking a talented Senior Recruiter specializing in Product & Design to join our dynamic team. This full-time, remote position is open to candidates located anywhere in Canada or the United States. Mercury is a modern banking platform built for startups, and we are looking for a recruitment expert to help us attract and hire top-tier talent in product and design roles.

Job Overview

Lead end-to-end recruitment for Product & Design roles.
Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and team goals.
Develop effective sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
Drive a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
Contribute to Mercury’s growth by identifying and onboarding exceptional talent.

Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruiting for product and design positions.
Collaborate closely with department leads to define job requirements and success profiles.
Utilize creative sourcing techniques to build diverse candidate pipelines.
Screen, interview, and assess candidates for technical and cultural fit.
Maintain accurate recruiting records and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

Requirements & Qualifications

Proven experience recruiting for product and design teams, preferably in tech or startup environments.
Strong knowledge of sourcing tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, ATS systems).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently in a fully remote capacity.
Understanding of startup culture and agile hiring practices.
