Job Overview

Lead the architecture and development of Versapay’s SaaS AR automation platform.
Drive technical innovation in AI, machine learning, and cloud-based B2B payment solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, secure, and scalable products.
Promote efficient, digital-first processes to enhance customer experience and operational excellence.
Mentor and support fellow engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design and code performant, scalable software solutions for AR automation and B2B payments.
Participate in research and innovation, particularly in AI/ML and payment automation.
Integrate solutions with major ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, and Sage Intacct.
Champion best practices in software engineering, including code reviews, pairing, and mentoring.
Ensure compliance with PCI/DSS standards and promote secure digital payment methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in software engineering, with a strong background in system architecture.
Proficiency in Ruby, Rails, and Sinatra frameworks is highly desirable.
Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, databases, and operating systems.
Experience in the Payments Industry and with PCI/DSS compliance is a strong asset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and idea sharing.
Strong organizational skills, commitment to quality, and a passion for delivering on promises.
