Software Engineer, Low Latency Computing

Join our team at Starlink as a Software Engineer specializing in Low Latency Computing. Develop real-time software for a variety of components including gateways, satellites, user terminals, and switches. Be involved in architecture, design, and code reviews while also working on prototypes and experiments to validate design concepts. Build essential tools for deployment, data analysis, visualization, and testing in various environments. Ensure reliability in deployment, test execution, and data analysis through CI/CD practices.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics, or at least 2 years of software development experience (internship included). Proficiency in assembly, C, or C++ is a must, along with experience in developing, debugging, and deploying software for real-world applications. Strong skills in real-time rendering, game engine development, and physics simulation are essential. Familiarity with networking protocols like UDP, TCP/IP, and distributed systems is key.
