Job Overview

As a Senior QA Engineer at tvScientific, you will be responsible for owning quality assurance for web platform features including UI, APIs, and backend functionalities. You will design and execute manual tests, conduct regression testing, build and maintain automated tests, and ensure API contracts and edge cases are validated. This role involves integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for fast feedback.

Responsibilities

Own quality for web platform features
Design and execute manual tests and exploratory testing
Conduct regression testing
Build and maintain automated tests for frontend-backend integration
Validate API contracts, schema, and edge cases

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience in QA/Quality Engineering for web platforms and APIs
Manual testing of complex consumer-facing web apps
API tests with Postman, REST-assured, or similar tools
Web automation with Playwright or Cypress
Knowledge of HTTP/REST and API design principles
JavaScript or TypeScript programming/scripting
