Grafana Labs is seeking a remote Staff Front End Engineer to join the Grafana K6 team. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a leading open source observability platform, focusing on the development and enhancement of K6's user experience. Work remotely from anywhere in the United States and collaborate with passionate professionals committed to building composable, scalable solutions.

Job Overview

Lead the front-end development for the Grafana K6 project.
Design and implement user interfaces for observability tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
Champion best practices in code quality and performance.
Participate in open source community initiatives.

Responsibilities

Architect and develop scalable front-end applications.
Contribute to the design and implementation of new features.
Maintain and improve existing codebases.
Ensure seamless integration with back-end services.
Mentor junior engineers and promote team collaboration.

Requirements & Qualifications

Proven experience in front-end engineering, ideally at a senior or staff level.
Strong proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React).
Expertise in TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Experience working with open source projects.
Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills.
Background in observability, performance testing, or related domains is a plus.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote setting.
