As a Systems and Safety Engineer with a focus on Autonomy Sensing, you will play a crucial role in defining and allocating sensing requirements, performing impact analysis, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring safety analyses for sensing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the definition and allocation of sensing requirements with traceability
  • Perform impact analysis for requirements, coverage, and risk in sensing
  • Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Autonomy to elicit sensing requirements
  • Perform safety analyses (HARA, FMEA, STPA) for sensing capabilities
  • Define and execute Verification & Validation (V&V) activities
  • Perform data and kinematics analysis to justify requirements and tests
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Aerospace/CS/Robotics or related field
  • 3+ years in systems or safety engineering or related field
  • Experience writing verifiable functional and non-functional requirements
  • Experience in safety-critical industries and software safety analysis and verification
  • Proven ability to work in high-ambiguity environments with diverse stakeholders
