Tax Administration Specialist

Nimbl is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Tax Admin to join our rapidly growing fractional finance and accounting team. As a key member of our tax function, you will ensure efficient project management, seamless communication, and timely delivery across a diverse client base. This remote position offers the opportunity to support businesses nationwide, empowering them to manage their finances and focus on growth.

Job Overview

The Tax Admin will play a pivotal role in supporting tax compliance operations by managing documentation, client communications, and workflow systems. You will work closely with clients, assist with document requests, and help orchestrate mass communication during key tax milestones—all while maintaining high organizational standards and meeting critical deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage tax project workflows and client statuses using Asana and other digital tools.
• Maintain and organize Intuit-linked documents for efficient retrieval and compliance.
• Interact with clients to assist with document submissions, respond to inquiries, and send deadline reminders.
• Coordinate and execute mass communication campaigns during key tax periods.
• Support the tax team with administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations across multiple projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficiency with technology, including GSuite, Asana, and document portals (Intuit Link preferred).
• Prior experience in administrative or operational roles within professional services (preferred).
• Client-focused mindset and a natural desire to serve business owners.
• Proven ability to create order and calm amidst complexity.
• Comfortable learning new software and adapting to technology-driven environments.
