Test Engineering Director

Job Overview

As the Director of Test Engineering, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of test campaigns for reactor components. This role involves designing and building test setups, creating test plans, supervising technicians, and delivering comprehensive data packages and reports.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development and execution of test campaigns
• Design and build test setups from bench fixtures to thermal-hydraulic loops
• Develop test plans, instrumentation requirements, data deliverables, and safety controls
• Execute campaigns with hands-on operation and supervision of technicians
• Deliver data packages and test reports with traceability for design decisions

Requirements & Qualifications

• 10+ years in test engineering
• 3+ years in leadership of teams
• Hands-on experience designing and building test setups for mechanical, thermal, or fluid systems
• Deep experience with instrumentation and data acquisition
• Experience writing test plans, procedures, and reports for engineering decisions
• Track record establishing standard test methods and processes
• Experience leading teams of technicians and test engineers
