Join Goodnotes Foundation as a UX Researcher and help shape the core experiences for millions of users across iOS, Android, Windows, and Web platforms. You will collaborate with a diverse, remote-first team of designers and product thinkers to deliver thoughtful and elegant solutions for essential features like toolbars, navigation, and multi-platform consistency. Your research will directly influence product direction in a highly impactful environment, supporting user-centric design and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Design and conduct foundational and evaluative research studies to inform product decisions.
Collaborate asynchronously with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and engineers.
Deliver actionable research insights that shape core features and drive multi-platform consistency.
Uncover unmet user needs and identify opportunities for improvement.
Help transition the team from intuition-led to insight-driven decision making.

Required Skills & Qualifications

3-4+ years of in-house UX research experience.
Proven ability to lead end-to-end research studies independently.
Strong portfolio demonstrating impact on product design.
Experience collaborating across product, design, and engineering teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comfort with qualitative and light quantitative research methods.
Ability to connect business and product metrics to research recommendations.
Experience with productivity tools or multi-platform apps (a plus).
Familiarity with tools such as User Testing, Maze, Useberry, Optimal Workshop, or Amplitude (a plus).
Knowledge of unmoderated testing and remote-first workflows (a plus).
