Windows Platform Engineer

As a Senior Platform Engineer - Windows, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the Windows systems infrastructure across our enterprise. This remote position offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our services remain reliable, secure, scalable, and high-performing. You will leverage automation, scripting, and cloud technologies to streamline processes and support business objectives in a dynamic digital-first environment.

Job Overview

• Lead the design, deployment, and management of Windows infrastructure and associated services.
• Implement automation to reduce manual intervention and operational overhead.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve security, reliability, and scalability.
• Participate in incident management and root cause analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Windows systems and services (Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS).
• Develop and automate system processes using scripting and programming languages.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code with tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Monitor infrastructure, analyze performance metrics, and optimize system performance.
• Create and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience automating Windows system management.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Strong skills in Python and Powershell scripting.
• Ability to work flexible hours and respond to production incidents as needed.
