Shriners Children's is a renowned non-profit organization dedicated to delivering specialized pediatric care and advancing innovative research for over a century. We are seeking a Clinical Research Program Manager (CRPM) to oversee and manage all local clinical research activities, particularly retrospective studies, ensuring data quality, ethical standards, and regulatory compliance. This position supports our mission to improve pediatric care in orthopedics, burn injury, rehabilitation, and more.

Job Overview

Lead operational management of local clinical research projects, with a focus on retrospective studies involving pediatric populations.
Serve as the primary liaison among research participants, investigators, study staff, and sponsors.
Uphold Shriners Children’s standards, federal regulations, and Good Clinical Practice guidelines in all research activities.
Promote ethical data review and safeguarding of sensitive information from vulnerable pediatric subjects.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of clinical research studies, ensuring proper study conduct and high data quality.
Coordinate with investigators and research personnel for ethical review and secure data collection.
Ensure compliance with institutional, federal, and regulatory guidelines.
Act as the system’s main contact for retrospective studies involving internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in line with SHC policies and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of clinical research experience, including site or study management and knowledge of IRBs and federal compliance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Bachelor’s degree in clinical research, science, or a healthcare-related field (or 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree).
Master’s degree in clinical research, science, or healthcare-related field (preferred).
Strong understanding of data protection and ethical research practices, especially with vulnerable pediatric subjects.
