Reddit is seeking a remote Community Manager based in Germany to help foster and grow vibrant online communities. As the front page of the internet, Reddit values passionate individuals who can engage users, moderate discussions, and represent Reddit’s values in the German market. This is a contract position offering flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in Germany.

Job Overview

Contract remote position based in Germany
Manage and support Reddit communities
Promote healthy online interactions
Work closely with Reddit’s global team

Key Responsibilities

Engage and support German Reddit users
Moderate content and ensure community guidelines are followed
Develop strategies to grow and nurture local communities
Act as a liaison between users and Reddit staff
Identify and address local trends and issues

Required Skills & Qualifications

Fluency in German and English
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience managing online communities or forums
Knowledge of social media platforms
Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Understanding of Reddit culture and values
Time management and organizational skills
Prior experience in remote or contract work is a plus
Ability to analyze community data and trends
