Job Overview

As the Director of People, you will be responsible for owning and scaling the People strategy across various aspects of the organization, including hiring, onboarding, performance, and employee experience.

Responsibilities
  • Own and scale People strategy across hiring, onboarding, performance, and employee experience.
  • Partner with executives to translate goals into headcount plans and org design.
  • Lead end-to-end recruiting strategy with hiring frameworks, planning, and standards.
  • Standardize hiring processes, role definitions, scorecards, and interviews.
  • Develop dashboards for hiring, retention, and performance.
  • Design scalable onboarding, performance, and manager enablement programs.
  • Coach managers on interviewing, feedback, and performance conversations.
  • Own people infrastructure: job leveling, docs, policies, and tooling.
  • Steward company culture and values in hiring, development, and retention.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • 8+ years in People Ops, Talent, or HR at Director level.
  • Experience partnering with executives in fast-growth startups.
  • Strong judgment and hands-on execution when needed.
  • Experience building and scaling recruiting and people systems from early-stage to growth.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management across all levels.
  • Comfort with ambiguity; set direction where processes don’t exist.
  • Experience with ATS and HR tooling (e.g., Lever, Greenhouse, HRIS).
  • Experience supporting both GTM and technical organizations.
